With traditional construction methods, issues and variations to a site are identified only after a component has arrived to a site for installation. Many inefficiencies are produced by this practice, some of which include material waste, increased labor, and low quality products. Using our innovative 3D consulting services, issues on a site are found in the beginning stages of a project. Components fabricated based of as-built CAD drawings ensure they are installed with a perfect fit, optimal aesthetic, and reduced rework.

CURTAIN WALL

Unique processes allow us to take a set of drawings for a given curtain wall and adjust all dimensions to precisely follow site conditions. If required for installation, we layout mullions and anchors to ensure a perfect assembly. Complex glass and framing geometry is confidently fabricated for a one time installation.

STEEL

Steel drawing verification and optimization. Mapping existing site conditions and location of embeds for early design validation. Analyzing crane position, clash avoidance, steel erection layout and quality assurance/checking.

GLAZING

Exact glass sizes are determined by taking the architectural design intent and overlaying it onto the 3D as-built site measurements and adjusting it accordingly. Conditions such as minimum overhang, slope, hole locations, and interference are modeled to specification.

Concrete

Quickly mobilize to capture post-tensioning, rebar plan, sleeves and existing conduits prior to scan. Complete data for slab level and flatness showing deviations in a colored cloud with respect to elevation. Total station setups to layout areas of concern.
